Reports to: Manager, Business Intelligence
This position will work in a collaborative environment maintaining, monitoring, coordinating, and supporting Hyperion applications and all related processes. The candidate will have solid technical and functional knowledge of the Hyperion EPM products to support the accounting and finance departments.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for administration and support of Hyperion tool suite and solutions.
• Provide problem-solving and technical support for all Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System.
• Development of new models as business needs arise.
• Working with business intelligence analysts in other groups to establish and maintain data integrity across applications.
• Will provide timely and satisfactory resolution of system issues, successful implementation of new solutions, capability of users based on training effectiveness.
• Lead point of contact in migration of Accounting/Finance Hyperion information to MicroStrategy solution.
• Interact with Financial Reporting, Accounting and Finance departments in a support and training role.
• Import and manipulate data from disparate systems.
• Trouble-shoot and resolve process, functional and technical issues.
• Investigate issues in reports or cubes and provide root cause analysis.
• Recommend corrective actions for issues, taking into account user needs and IT resources.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 3 or more years with Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Essbase 11 in development and administrative roles.
• Experience prior to Hyperion roles is strongly preferred. The individual should have experience developing and/or supporting Finance and Accounting related planning/essbase implementations.
• Some MicroStrategy experience also preferred but not required. Willingness to learn MicroStrategy reporting a requirement.
• 3 years public accounting experience or SEC reporting experience.
• Strong work ethic, good interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, flexible to demands.
• Working knowledge of UNIX environment, configuration of Essbase, planning and Hyperion Financial reporting.
• Firm knowledge of Hyperion Security assignment and maintenance.
• SQL programming skills must at least be at the working knowledge level, expert level preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in spreadsheets (MS Excel) and word processing documents (MS Word).
• Experience with Lawson database and interface preferred but not required.
