Reports to: Senior Manager

Enova’s Product Development Manager will be responsible for managing new product implementations, as well as enhancing existing products.

To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience taking a product through the release cycle process from initial planning to implementation. Candidates should have a proven track record of creating customer-focused products using excellent design and spec writing skills, however we’ll be open to other skill-sets. You will be working with a diverse group of business stakeholder and passionate engineers within Enova.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft creative and technically sound solutions in response to market demands
  • Lead internal cross-functional teams to deploy complex projects quickly and effectively
  • Apply quantitative analytical techniques to unstructured business situations and communicate the results to a diverse audience
  • Translate market demand and business goals into new product offerings
  • Create and lead strategic ventures to enter new global markets
  • Define product vision and strategy; coordinate technology team to develop and launch
  • Perform risk analyses of new products and partnerships, and prioritize projects accordingly
  • Identify and mitigate risks early in the product life cycle to ensure product profitability
  • Develop functional specifications for system enhancements
  • Use technical skills and business savvy to facilitate implementation of new products and features
  • Create financial models of new products and markets in order to make strategic business decisions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field preferable
  • Experience with quantitative and technical analytical techniques
  • Background in computer science or software development
  • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing projects in a fast-paced environment through strategic planning, prioritization, and task delegation
  • Strong appetite and aptitude for technical knowledge
  • Demonstrate organizational and prioritization skills
  • An understanding of business process & the application of technology in achieving business objectives.
  • Be able to wear many hats and manage way too many things at a given time
  • Other duties as assigned.
