Reports to: Software Development Manager

Responsibilities:

• Candidate will be part of a team of developers building complex web based applications.
• Candidate will be involved in architectural decisions and be responsible for implementing parts of the system.
• It will be important for the candidate to be able to take on a project independently and ensure its success.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Currently completing Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Experience in either Development or QA in prior internship or in classroom work
• The ideal candidate will have worked with Ruby
• Given that these are new technologies, experience developing web applications in Object-Oriented Perl, Python, or Java can be substituted as long as a strong desire to work in Ruby exists
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSql is preferred
• Experience with Linux/Unix
